How the QME Exam Works
The DWC Medical Unit gives the QME exam twice a year, in April and October: 200 multiple-choice questions in 3 hours at Pearson VUE test centers. About half of candidates do not pass on the first attempt.

After passing the QME Competency Exam, you'll need to complete a 12-hour report writing course from a DWC-approved provider.
